Election Protection will assist voters as they prepare for this year’s statewide elections in Louisiana, Mississippi, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia, as well as those who want to get a head start and make sure they are ready to vote in the 2016 presidential elections. With an eye toward 2016, the theme for this year’s National Voter Registration Day is “Celebrating Democracy in America.” National Voter Registration Day celebrates and encourages voters to take the important first step in participating in our democracy by registering to vote in order to have their voices heard at the ballot box.
