demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy and confidentiality. The following discloses our

What is this Privacy Policy?
This is the website privacy policy of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law (“the
Lawyers’ Committee”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This website privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”)
applies to the Lawyers’ Committee and all its owned websites (lawyerscommittee.org,
prepparents.org, 866ourvote.org, 8449nohate.org, thefuturewedeserve.org), together hereafter
referred to as the “Site.”
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into the Lawyers’ Committee Terms of Use (the “Terms”)
and sets forth the Lawyers’ Committee websites’ current policies and procedures with respect to
the Personal Information of all visitors to the Site (“you” or “your”). “Personal Information”
means any information that relates to you as an individual and could reasonably be used to
identify you. Your continued use of the Site indicates your acceptance of this Privacy Policy and

Personal Information
The Lawyers’ Committee will collect Personal Information directly from you, including your full
name, phone number, email address, home address, credit card information, and any other
information you provide to us, solely when you voluntarily provide it to us, including in the
following instances:
- When you submit a donation via our Donate page.
- When you create or update an account on our Site.
- When you fill out our Site forms (e.g. our “Contact Us” page, our surveys, our petition
forms). - When you sign up for an event or volunteer opportunities hosted by the Lawyers’
Committee and posted on our Site. - When you apply for a job listed on our Site.
- When you sign up for our marketing communications (e.g. our newsletter, action alerts).
During normal browsing, the Site may automatically collect information including:

Our Election Protection Hotline
When you contact our Election Protection Hotline, we may collect and store limited categories of
your Personal Information, including your name and phone number, to provide our voter support
services. We may share such limited categories of Personal Information with third party partners
in our network to provide our voter support services that you request.
Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect or maintain any information from any person younger than 13
years of age. No portion of our site is designed in any way to attract any person younger than 13.
If we do inadvertently collect any information from a person younger than 13 without verifiable
parental consent, we will promptly delete the information. If you are under 13 years of age, then
please do not use or access the services at any time or in any manner. By continuing to use our
Site, you are acknowledging that you are over the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and
discover that your child has provided us with Personal Information without your consent, please

The Lawyers’ Committee operates in the United States, and any Personal Information collected
